SilvaSpan manufactures the first mass-produced, finger-jointed nail-laminated (NLT) panel in North America, creating an affordable and reliable floor and roof alternative to traditional building materials.
Each piece of lumber is cut and glued to create laminations of up to 60 feet, mechanically nailed together into a mass timber floor-ceiling panel assembly to provide unbeatable efficiency, style and value.
Where to Use NLT
SilvaSpan’s mass-produced NLT is used primarily for floor and roof structural systems and combined with mass timber, structural steel hybrid or concrete hybrid supporting structures. SilvaSpan NLT is the most cost-effective mass timber deck available. It is ideal for commercial, institutional and dense residential applications.
